Jakarta, October 2025 -- In line with the Road to Teacher's Day 2025 Series carrying the theme "Transformative Teacher for Sustainable Education," Nizamia Andalusia School held an inspiring session titled "Stand Out, Speak Up, Lead Strong." The event took place at the Home of the Falcons Auditorium, bringing together leaders from all Nizamia units — from Nizamia Andalusia Kindergarten (NAK), Nizamia Andalusia Primary School (NAPS), Nizamia Andalusia Middle School (NAMS), to Nizamia High School (NHS) — as well as head of division.
Led by Faris Budiman Annas, M.Si, a Communication Science lecturer from Paramadina University, the session explored the art of communication and authentic leadership. Known for his expertise in leadership branding and educational communication, Mr. Faris guided participants through an engaging and reflective journey on how self-awareness, consistency, and clear communication can strengthen one's influence in the workplace.
Mr. Faris also emphasized that effective communication is a daily practice — it requires awareness of one's words, emotions, and intentions. He shared that the most respected leaders are not always those who speak the loudest, but those who communicate with sincerity, empathy, and purpose.
Throughout the session, participants engaged in interactive discussions and reflections that focused on three essential principles: Stand Out — having the courage to be authentic and value-driven; Speak Up — voicing ideas and perspectives with confidence and empathy; and Lead Strong — building influence through clear communication and consistent actions. "This session reminded us that communication is not just about speaking, but about connecting and listening with empathy and expressing with purpose," said Bapak Fajri, Principal of NAPS Middle Level.
The atmosphere throughout the session was vibrant and engaging. Participants were encouraged to take part in short communication exercises that helped them practice clarity, tone, and body language when delivering messages. Through these activities, teachers and school leaders learned how small shifts in the way they speak and listen can create a stronger connection and mutual trust within their teams. Through “Stand Out, Speak Up, Lead Strong,” Nizamia Andalusia School continues to empower its educators to become confident communicators — teachers and leaders who inspire others not only through what they say, but through how they connect, listen, and respond.
