In welcoming the holy month of Ramadan 1447 Hijri, students of Nizamia Andalusia Middle School organized a social activity entitled NAMS Tarhib Ramadhan 1447 H on Thursday, February 12, 2026. The activity was attended by all students under the supervision of teachers as part of character development efforts and the strengthening of Islamic values.

The series of activities began with a clean-up action at several mosques and mushola located around the school environment. Working collaboratively, students cleaned both the interior and exterior areas of the mosques and mushola, including sweeping and mopping floors, cleaning carpets and ablution areas, and tidying up the surrounding environment. Throughout the activity, teachers provided guidance and supervision to ensure that all activities ran in an orderly and smooth manner.

In addition to the cleaning activities, students also carried out a food-sharing program by distributing food and beverages to residents around the school area as well as communities near the mosques and mushola where the activities took place. This initiative served as a form of social awareness while also providing students with meaningful learning experiences to foster empathy and a spirit of sharing.

The student's enthusiasm was evident through their active participation during the activities. Rizanta, an eighth-grade student from class VIII C, expressed his happiness at being able to help mosque caretakers clean the mosques and mushola around the school. Meanwhile, Kayana from class VIII D added that the activity was even more meaningful as the mosques and mushola would soon be used by the local community for Tarawih prayers during the month of Ramadan.

Through the NAMS Tarhib Ramadhan 1447 H activity, the school hopes that students will welcome the month of Ramadan with spiritual readiness, social awareness, and a strong sense of togetherness in contributing positively to the surrounding community.
